New adventures

Hey everyone, it has been a long couple of days, yesterday Erin and I attempted to venture into the mountains to check out the still operating ski resorts. We made it about 20 miles before 3 out of 5 lug studs on my right rear wheel decided to break off and the wheel almost came off my car. I was able to have it repaired that afternoon, but the drive was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! It was unlike anything we had ever seen before, unfortunately we were both in such awe we did not get any pictures.  Today we ventured into Denver and we went to the "16th street mall" which is a huge outdoor mall that is similar to Church street in Burlington but about 10 times as big, it was amazing.  We drove past Coors stadium, Home of the Broncos! haha We will post pictures as soon as possible. Thanks for checking in. Love Josh and Erin

Day 3

We drove about 12 hours today and made it to Grand Island, Nebraska.  Only 400 mi left for tomorrow!

Day 2

Yesterday was a good short day of driving.  We stopped near Kalamazoo MI to spend the afternoon and night with Erin's Aunt Sandra and Uncle Steven.  It was a wonderful visit and we all had a great time and some awesome laughs.  We made it through Illinois and Michigan.

P.S.

Today I learned a very hard lesson and fact of life.  Sometimes in life you have to physically say good bye to someone who may have only a short period of time left of this small world, Although it is never going to actually be good bye in spirit, but it still letting go of the physical aspect that can be so tormenting and cruel.  I will always love you Grandpa Harry and look forward to talking to you as often as possible on the phone until we meet again one day in person or spirit.

Thank you for everything.
Love Josh

Day 1

Today we made it about 600 miles, we crossed 3 state borders, and had only 1 hold up, which entailed having to reload the maps on our GPS before we left VT. Over all success.  We saw two insanely long cargo trains, and way too many miles of grapes.  Tonight we are staying just west of Cleveland.   Tomorrow off to see Uncle Steven in MI!

Now leaving VT

It's not easy leaving a place that means so much to both of us. We have so many amazing people in our lives both family and friends, we wouldn't be the people we are today if it wasn't for you guys! We are now looking forward to the journey we have ahead and are excited to share our new adventure with all of you <3
